TRIPS & EVENTS
Unlike many organizations, NGMI is not a short-term sending agency, nor do we keep a calendar full of trips. Any trip taken is because the Ghanaians have asked for our participation or support in their on-going efforts. We travel to regions where most North Americans will never travel as they are not tourist destinations. They are destinations where the people are stunning, yet the church barely exists. We partner with Christian pastors working among tribal groups that have no viable church...the unreached populations where less than 2% of the population follows Jesus.
20 My ambition has always been to preach the Good News where the name of Christ has never been heard, rather than where a church has already been started by someone else. 21 I have been following the plan spoken of in the Scriptures, where it says,
“Those who have never been told about him will see,
and those who have never heard of him will understand.”
Romans 15:20-21
We are open to individuals who express interest in traveling with us, but we cannot guarantee a spot for all inquiries due to limited availability. Our trips always include some type of Christian education and training that can be passed on to our African friends and their local church communities. We have provided training for church leaders, children's camps, and women's ministries.
